Join us for a reading of recent poems by Caspar Heinemann.

Caspar is a poet, artist, and academia-adjacent independent researcher based in London and Berlin. His research interests include critical mysticism, gay biosemiotics, illegitimate communisms, and professional irreverence. He has previously written on a pantheon including John Wieners, Diane di Prima, Paul Thek, and Derek Jarman. He holds a BA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London. His first book, ‘Novelty Theory’ was published in 2019 by the 87 press.

This event is the first in a series accompanying Two Queens’ 2019-20 exhibition programme with a focus on critical poetics and is timed to coincide with the exhibition ‘Pillgarlic’s Gone A-Sauling’ by Jake Kent. The event is made possible by public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and De Montfort University.

The event is free to attend and no booking is required, reading will take place between 5.30-6.30pm.
