Two Queens is an Arts Award Supporter Venue

Arts Award is a national qualification that supports young people to develop their potential as artists and leaders, inspiring them to engage with creative activity and the wider creative landscape, all whilst gaining experience and knowledge to support their progression in education and employment.

If you are a school or college in Leicestershire delivering Arts Award, as an Arts Award Supporter Venue we are able to provide free practical support for Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold level, including delivering workshops and activities relating to a particular module. Bronze Arts Award Summer School! FREE!

We are looking for 10 young people aged 12-16 to take part in our first ever Arts Award Summer School! You’ll have the opportunity to meet other young people, take part in creative activities and learn new skills, meet creative professionals and explore galleries and exhibitions. At the end of the week your portfolio of activity will be submitted to Arts Award for moderation for the Bronze level award.

The Summer School runs from Monday 12th to Friday 16th August, daily 10am – 4pm. Taking part in the Summer School is completely free. Lunch is provided, along with all materials and trips to galleries and exhibitions.
