Audience Talk - Pillgarlic's Gone A-Sauling

Saturday 23 November 2019

Past

Saturday 23rd November, 1-3pm

Join us to talk, ask questions and engage in a critical group conversation about our current exhibition by Jake Kent: ‘Pillgarlic’s Gone A-Sauling’.

Stepping away from the usual formats of artist talks and curator tours found in galleries and museums, we are interested to hear what you think and have to say about our exhibitions. Using the format of group critiques that we practice within the studio community at Two Queens, our aim is to foster critical thinking and conversation and remove some of the perceived barriers between contemporary art and its audience.

The aim is to have a conversation that is fun and interesting and allows us all to uncover more of the themes and ideas present in the work. All are welcome, regardless of whether you feel ready to speak or would just like to listen to the conversation – we will help to get the discussion going with a series of activities and questions.

Free event, no booking required. It’s best if everyone is present at the beginning of the discussion, but you can stay for as much or as little as you like.
