Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings, awarded by Arts Council England, recognising their commitment to high quality arts and cultural education.
Two Queens is proud to be supporting schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey, inspiring children and young people to create, experience, and participate in great arts and culture.
We offer education settings who are working towards, or currently
hold an Artsmark Award, with the following opportunities:
- 60 minute gallery and studio tours, providing a unique ‘behind the scenes’ insight from creative professionals and including time for critical reflection and discussion.
- Hands on workshops that include practical activities to explore the themes and disciplines in the exhibitions in a creative and stimulating way.
- We are open to devising and delivering group visits that are related to your school priorities, supporting cross-curricular learning and developing communication skills, confidence and critical thinking.
We can support Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5. We do not charge for group visits or workshops as we are currently funded by Arts Council England and Leicester City Council. All materials are provided by us. One cost you may need to consider is travel to and from the gallery – please discuss any concerns with us and we may be able to help.
