Join Nev Portas from Down to Earth Derby for this introduction to Composting

Composting is a process of decomposing organic matter into a nutrient-rich soil amendment. It involves mixing food scraps, yard waste, and other organic materials (anything once alive and now dead) in a pile or bin and allowing natural microorganisms to break down the material.

Join Nev for this exciting workshop, blending practical knowledge with citizen science and creative techniques to reduce our food waste and build soil with intention. He will share his personal research and explore the living systems in Sean Roy Parker’s exhibition, ‘The Beans’.

This workshop is taking part alongside Sean Roy Parker’s exhibition ‘The Beans’ at Two Queens, 27th May – 15th July. The project is made possible by public funding from The National Lottery through Arts Council England.
