In this workshop we will think about how the act of writing and sending (or not sending) letters can be a useful tool for thinking about art, love, service and value. “a letter can go to a muse, an ancestor, a pedestal, a lover or ex, a prison, an ism, or an enemy. Each shows something different.” During the workshop we will pick a direction to throw words and intent at, in the end there will be an invite to share what’s been written.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided. This workshop will take place in our foyer which has step-free access. A budget is available to support the participation of those on low incomes or with an access need. For example to pay for BSL interpretation, or transport to the gallery. This event is made possible by public funding from The National Lottery through Arts Council England.
