Join us for the first in our series of Artist Development Workshops.

Led by curator and writer George Vasey, this participatory session will explore curating in the city of Leicester, using an imagined cultural organisation narrative to reflect on both opportunities and challenges, and how we might navigate these. The session will also provide an insight into George’s own experiences working as a curator between artist-led and institutional organisations.

George was joint curator of the Turner Prize in 2017 and is currently curator of the contemporary art programme at Wellcome Collection. He is currently curating Jo Spence & Oreet Ashery: Bodies that Matter at Wellcome Collection.
