Blender is a free, open source 3D creation suite. This workshop, hosted by Phoenix’s FTP artist meet-up , is aimed at complete beginners and will cover the basics of the software and how it can be used in a creative practice. We’ll be looking at modelling, sculpting and texturing, and how these can be used to make images and animations.
We have 8 tickets available for using PC’s at Phoenix, and 7 available for attendees who are able to bring their own laptop. Blender is cross-platform and runs on Linux, Windows, and Macintosh computers. Please check you are able to run Blender on your laptop before booking a laptop ticket and attending the event – further information can be found here: https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/ Please also bring with you a three button mouse (PC mouse with scroll button is fine) as this will make the session easier. If you are unable to bring a mouse with you please email learning@2queens.com and we will arrange to provide one for you.
