Workshop – 16mm Film-Making and Eco-Processing
Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June 2023
10am-5pm each day

This two day workshop is designed to give artists an introduction to shooting and hand-developing 16mm cine film. Led by artist and film-maker James Holcombe, participants will learn the basics of using Bolex cameras to shoot footage on day one, then learn to process film using eco-friendly chemistry on day two, culminating in a group screening of the negatives. Participants will receive a telecine transferred digital copy of their footage after the workshop (approx 8 minutes of footage).
