Event: 2Q community Bean Bank launch
Saturday 9th September, 4-6pm (drop in)
At Two Queens – Free and open to all!

This event follows Sean Roy Parker’s exhibition ‘The Beans’, which ran at Two Queens between May-July 2023. Bean plants of many varities were started in the gallery and gifted to local growers, who are now invited to bring back some dried beans to be swapped and shared for next year’s growing. All are welcome to take part, whether you already received a plant from 2Q, have been growing your own beans at home or are new to the project and would like to receive some bean seeds for the first time. After this launch event, the bean bank will remain accessible at 2Q for anyone who wants to donate or receive seeds.

• Receive some new bean seeds to grow next year
• Share your experiences and tips for other growers
• Try some experimental bean snacks prepared by the artist (vegan / vegetarian)
